We woke up at the ring of Cy’s alarm again, but this time it was at 6:30. Today was the first day of the three day and two night semester at sea trip to Seville, Cordoba, and Granada. This day we would drive off by tour bus with two other groups of people at around 7:30 in the morning. One of the other groups was going to the same three day and two night trip as us, but the other was only going on a two day and one night trip, to Seville and Cordoba. On the way to what I thought was our hotel, a nice woman named Estella stopped our bus and got on. She turned out to be our guide, and it turned out that we actually weren’t going to the hotel. Instead, we were going to the third largest cathedral in the whole world! But before the Cathedral, we went to this courtyard that had a humongous fountain smack dab in the center of it. We found out that the courtyard was used in one of the Star Wars movies! After the courtyard, we went to Alcazar, which is a palace type thing with an immense amount of gardens around it, and beautiful architecture inside of it. The cathedral we went to next was the coolest, hugest thing I have ever seen in my day! Everything was so exact and beautiful… it was amazing! I don’t remember what it was called, so I’m going to call it Cathedral de Seville or Cathedral of Seville (creative, right?) Cy got lost twice! It was so big (although he does that anyway). In the Cathedral, we climbed a thirty four story bell tower that was only ramps because the king used to ride his horse to the top. It was tiring, which made the bed feel so much more comfortable in Cordoba after yet another two hour drive to another beautiful city.
